The working life
- The working life is goodddd, 1) cause I’m learning a lot 2) I get fed 3) I’m kinda overpaid; but I wish I could work like half the amount of hours, haha
- Currently, I work in this conference room with 3-4 other people and they are pretty easy to get along with. Half the time we’re joking around and the other half I’m chugging away on Excel.
- A day after Daniel Kim’s training on critical thinking, I actually got into a good conversation with this random guy in SF on my lunch break about religion. Apparently, his major was Comparative Religion and he was a Rastafarian. Nice guy, but he made a bunch of claims that he himself would never stand by which was really frustrating to deal with. For practice, I wrote down all his claims afterwards to think about what assumptions he was trying to make and etc…
- Earliest time I’ve gotten out of work is 5:45, yay 15 minutes!
Kinda Expected
- Interns at Big Four companies are treated the best – top of the pyramid
- San Francisco weather is super depressing
- I couldn’t pay attention to today’s training for the life of me, but neither did all 40 of the interns
- I’m getting into work randomly, sometimes at 11:30am, sometimes at 8, and usually at 9am
- Dinners have a 50 dollar limit
- Besides the wordliness, I’m signed up for Church history on Wednesdays @ northloop
